A day filled with day dreaming bliss with lights, camera, and action. Intertwine of bell bottoms and fringe; Hello 70’s and Bohemian Chic.
We traveled back in time to where platforms and retro prints were at abundance. We took the trendiest styles from the 70’s and brought them back to life in this photo shoot. From graphic tees to pops of color and of course the need of denim. 70’s feels were vibin’ throughout the air with a touch of Bohemian. So Bohemian, located in downtown Occoquan, Virginia made everyone’s dreams of transforming into a Bohemian Goddess come true. So Bohemian provides the God-sent jewelry and the intricate scarves, which landed a spot on all the models adding a sprinkle of Bohemian to each of our 70’s inspired outfits.
Photographer Miranda Drummond moved to the inspiration from shooting in various locations inside and outside Rockledge Mansion to taking us on the streets of downtown Occoquan, bringing our energy everywhere we went, bringing the pictures to life!
Fashion Editor, Jordan Batitto and I came out from behind the scenes, where we feel most comfortable to direct and style models, and became muses for the day as well as model in this lovely photo shoot. Getting my make-up and hair done had me yearning for my own glam squad even more than before… “Again please?” It was a fun and new experience to take the role of a model for a day. Thanks for the awesome team, the familiar faces Gigi McMillan and Simeaka Melton working their magic behind the scenes, the models from Kamisol Style Consultancy, Inc., Hair by Eston Styles, Make-Up by Michelle Ham and Erica Steele, Tag The Shooter Photographer and Jamel Brown capturing I Sharing How video, and of course working next to my dear friend and coworker Jordan Batitto, This became the dream team #FTLOS.
